EU projects

The aim of the project is to provide a solution that allows employees of railroad companies to work remotely, which will increase reliability, timeliness of rail transportation in times of pandemic, and users of the system will additionally provide tools to optimize business costs and ensure business continuity. As a result of the project, it was assumed that a next-generation intelligent planning platform would be created for rail market participants, mainly CARGO rail carriers.

The subject of the project is to carry out research and development work to develop an innovative system based on a number of unique features and functionalities dedicated to the transportation of goods by rail. The system will provide end-to-end support for business events and an expert system using mathematical models for automatic planning of freight connections and responding to freight execution risks. Additional solutions include. collection of real-time data on the location of freight cars and locomotives, restrictions on access to rail infrastructure, as well as the ability to monitor ongoing services.

The project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Intelligent Development Operational Program 2014 -2020, sub-measure 1.1.1 Industrial research and development work carried out by enterprises. Project implemented under the competition of the National Center for Research and Development, Competition “Fast Track 5_2020”.
