Implementation of RailSoft System at PKP Energetyka.
PKP Energetyka S.A. has been operating on the Polish market since 2001. The company’s main task is to sell and supply electricity to traction and business customers. The company also specializes in providing maintenance and emergency response services for rail networks, and operates diesel locomotive fueling stations. It has a 20,000-kilometer distribution network and operates a fleet of highly specialized trains and rail equipment nationwide. PKP Energetyka is owned by one of the world’s largest investment funds, CVC Capital Partners.
PKP ENERGETYKA, while implementing the required business processes, did not have a system solution, and based its operations on MS Office tools and railroad paper documents. These solutions did not provide adequate security, transparency of editing and access to real-time information.
